I Pull Out My Eyelashes to Make Wishes on Them

My prayers are unanswered. Dandelions are out of season. Birthday candles only come once a year. My life has become so terrible that I now must pull out my eyelashes to make wishes on them.

I’ve always been fond of whisking an eyelash off of my cheek and blowing it gently into the wind as I make a wish, but it was such a rare occurrence. That’s why I decided to take matters into my own hands and pull them out myself.

According to eyelash experts, humans have 90-150 eyelashes on their upper lid, and 70-80 on the lower. That’s 230 potential wishes. Given my current circumstances, I knew I couldn’t let those go to waste.

Since starting this journey three days ago, I have wished on 87 eyelashes. I have yet to see any results, but I am committed to seeing it through. You never know if the 230th wish might be the one that changes everything.

I pull my eyelashes out because I need something to believe in. 11:11 only happens twice a day, and I need something that can be there for me 24/7. Even when mine run out, my friends and family have a fruitful bounty to offer me.

If you’re reading this and you want to help, please join me in pulling your eyelashes out. And then, make sure to wish that my life gets better. Together, we can make this happen. And one day, when I’m on top of the world, I promise I will pull out my eyelashes to make wishes for you.
